RENAULT TRUCK COMMERCIALS STRENGTHENS NETWORK WITH NEW HODDESDON SERVICE POINT

Renault Truck Commercials has announced the appointment of UK Truckcentre as its new service point in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.

Working with Renault Truck Commercials Chiltern, UK Truckcentre will provide support for customers in Hertfordshire, North London and Essex. This announcement follows the recent appointments of Renault Truck Commercials service points in Cornwall (Launceston Truck Services) and Gloucester (South West Truck and Van), part of Renault Trucks ongoing network expansion programme.

Con Rooney, Managing Director, Renault Truck Commercials says: “The appointment of UK Truckcentre in Hoddesdon is a key part of our growth strategy, strengthening our coverage in this strategically important area and ensuring that we meet the accelerating demand for Renault Trucks products and services, coupled with enhancing our customer experience offering. In appointing UK Truckcentre, we have been impressed by their progressive approach to growing our presence, supporting the brand and our customer base potential.”

Situated near the A10 and close to the M1, M11 and M25 motorway links, UK Truckcentre’s 2.5 acre site is a modern facility with over 50 employees. It is fully equipped with five bay workshop, bodyshop, paintshop, VOSA tacho lane, latest diagnostic/repairs equipment and provides Renault Trucks’ 24/7 roadside assistance.

Commenting on the announcement, John Culora Managing Director, UK Truckcentre, says: “We are excited to bring the Renault Trucks brand back to Hoddesdon. When considering a brand to partner with, Renault Trucks quickly became the clear option based on our mutual focus on customer service and experience as well as its successful history within the region.”

For Renault Trucks, the appointment of UK Truckcentre takes the number of dealers in its UK & Ireland network to 73. Derek Leech, Service Market & Retail Development Director at Renault Trucks UK, says: “We are focused on strengthening our dealer network in key areas to maximise the potential for the Renault Trucks brand. The addition of UK Truckcentre to our network ensures that we will meet the demands of customers, existing and new, and can capitalise on opportunities across Hertfordshire, North London and Essex.”
