WITH THE NEW 770 HP SCANIA V8 M.G. TRASPORTI REALIZES A DREAM

Carlo Manzoni, Owner of M.G. Trasporti in the province of Bergamo, has fulfilled his greatest dream: to open a transport company in which an 8-cylinder engine pulsates.

But not just any 8-cylinder, but a 770 hp Scania V8.

"My biggest dream has always been to work with trucks. This is a passion I've had since I was a kid, when my dad brought me on board. I remember how yesterday was the indescribable emotion I felt. I started working in the family oil mill that came with me to the third generation, I always thought this was my way. One day, however, I realized that to be happy I would have to follow my heart and passion. So, in 2003, I opened a transport company that over the years has grown giving me great satisfaction", these are the words of Carlo Manzoni, owner of M.G. Trasporti, a company that deals with food transport at national level.

The small company of the province of Bergamo has specialized in the transport of cereals, wheat and oil. It has a fleet of 10 vehicles, including a Scania 500S and an R450, purchased from the Scandicar Dealership in Bergamo. "These are spectacular means, especially as far as consumption is concerned", continues Carlo.

"I followed the launch event of the new V8 and dreamed, from the first moment, of buying it. I always wanted to have the top of the range, the best machine that could be on the market. With Scania I realized this great desire of mine. It's hard to put into words: I was moved as soon as I saw my Scania V8! The sound of the V8 engine is pure adrenaline, you experience incredible emotions driving this masterpiece!".

"I am so proud of everything I have built that on SundayS I line up all my vehicles in the company forecourt and stop to admire them. So many times while I look at them I wonder if it's all true. I look back in time and even today it seems impossible to me that from a simple passion all this can be born".

Carlo explains that his company is like a large family: "The serene atmosphere between all of us allows us to work in harmony and, above all, allows my collaborators to feel an integral and fundamental part of this reality".

As for future projects, Carlo says that the goal is definitely to continue to grow and never stop. A first step towards achieving this goal is to increase the share of Scania vehicles. "I have an excellent relationship with the Scandicar Dealership in Bergamo. In particular, I would like to thank Flavio Bianchi, Head of Vehicle Sales at Scandicar, because he has managed to satisfy any of my requests, without ever stopping and always finding a solution to everything".
