Role: Cat C+E HGV HIAB Driver 

Truck Mount Operator

Location: Thomann-Hanry Offices, Whitby Avenue/On site

Role context

Over the last decade Thomann-Hanry® has grown significantly and continues to expand its portfolio of works requiring a dedicated team and resource to enable the company to deliver the best possible service to all clients. The Company undertakes works to restore some of the most important and historic buildings in London such as the ‘National Gallery’ and the ‘Bank of England’.

Role purpose

To support exceptional standards of work on site that Thomann-Hanry® provide to their clients through driving and operating of truck mounts, MEWPS and company lorries, vehicles and supporting our on-site teams.

Key responsibilities

· Driving and operating truck mounts, MEWPS and company lorries and vehicles

· Loading, unloading, and strapping down of vehicles

· Assisting specialists in completion of their duties and on-site support.

· Disseminating health and safety information and documents ensuring all is completed compliant.

· Responding to enquiries

· Working and communicating well within a team

· Meeting clients and fostering relationships

Essential skills, experience, and requirements

· MUST HAVE previous truck mount experience

· MUST HAVE a category C driving licence (with C+E Highly desirable)

· MUST BE comfortable working at height as our Truck mounts have a reach over 50 metres

· MUST BE willing to work nights and weekends

· IPAF - Experience operating truck mount platforms category 1b (with 3a and 3b desirable)

· MUST BE able to work flexibly including nights, early mornings and weekends as required

· Good communication skills

· A CSCS card is desirable but not essential

Salary and benefits

Day working will attract a salary of £40,000 p.a. paid monthly.

• Working Hours: 40 hours per week

• Overtime (Weekends and Out of Hours): 1.5 times for weekend work and for any time between 10.00pm and 06.00am.

• Annual Leave: 21 days holiday + one extra day holiday for every full year of employment up to a maximum of 25 days + Bank and public holidays. The company shuts down over the Christmas period.

• Birthday Leave: 1 day holiday given each year for you to take your birthday off or the following Monday if it falls on a weekend.

• Pension: A contributory group personal pension scheme run via Scottish Widows.
