Class 1 Tanker Driver (Banbury)
Menzies Distribution are currently looking for an experienced HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver with Tanker experience to join our team, providing a first class service in Banbury. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and it's customers.
What You Really Want To Know:
- The salary for this position is £45,093.00
- Sunday to Thursday role working Nights
- This position is based on a basic 60 hour working week
- Holiday entitlement is 28 days per year including bank holidays
- This position is for a Food Tanker Driver - we do not require you to have ADR
HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:
- General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other MDS locations.
- Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
- Assisting with loading and unloading
- Tramping is required
- Weekend and Bank Holiday work may be required
HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:
- A full UK C+E licence
- 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
- Previous bulk Tanker tipping experience using pump and/or compressor (essential)
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No previous disqualifications
- Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
