Ideas to find your next HGV driver job

Job hunting can be a tedious job!! aims to make the search easier by listing all the HGV driver jobs in one place. We try to list as many jobs as possible and update jobs daily. However failing a search on our website then your next point of call should be to google local haulage companies in your area. Make a list of names and numbers and get on the phone! Even better why not go round and do some door knocking. First impressions count so make sure you are clean and presentable.

Google maps has a really useful feature here

Enter the term "haulage companies" and it immediately brings up local companies within a 30 mile radius. Click on a company and you have the phone number, address and website, ready to add to your list.

Failing a local company its time to try either a national operator such as a DHL, Malcolms, XPO, Downtons etc... who are likely to have a depot in your local area.

Think outside the box to who might operate a fleet of trucks in your area. Think where are the local industrial estates? Who has a depot there? You can try supermarkets, cash and carries, wholesalers, builders merchants such as Travis Perkins, Jewsons, MKM and Buildbase all these companies operate trucks.
