Are you a traffic operator or administrator, looking for your next opportunity in a company where you can grow and progress? Our site in Milton Keynes is seeking a Transport Operator on a 6-2 / 2-10 rotating Monday-Friday shift. You will be working on our recently renewed contract within a highly successful team. Your role will encompass managing deliveries using our recently implemented Transport Management System. You will be working closely with our customers on a day to day basis and great customer service is at the forefront of everything we do! You`ll need be to be confident, thinking on your feet and be able to cope under pressure but you will also be learning all the way. You`ll work closely with our drivers, dealing with any queries whilst they`re on the road. We`ll ask you to demonstrate experience of handling driver issues and be knowledgeable about working time directives. You`ll also be responsible for managing our subcontractor base and ensuring we run a compliant, professionally maintained fleet. You will be continually monitoring all deliveries and collections and will play a fundamental role in supporting the warehouse by providing transport manifests and load sheets.
