HGV Class 1 C+E Shunter/FLT Driver - Wilton

We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 Shunter/FLT Driver to join us based from our site in Redcar. You’ll be working 40 guaranteed hours per week on the Monday to Friday day shift (on average, you’ll be working between 50 and 55), with no weekends or bank holidays.

Your main responsibility will be shunting on the Wilton International site and surrounding local areas, between our customer’s premises and our warehouse. From time-to-time, you’ll be required to provide holiday cover for bulk liquid tanker deliveries – this might involve the occasional night out.

If you hold a forklift licence, that’s ideal – you’ll periodically be required to load and unload vehicles. Any other licences you hold are a bonus too.

We’ll need you to hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than six penalty points, along with a valid CPC and digital tachograph card. Finally, you’ll have exceptional manoeuvring skills – this is a shunting role after all!

 In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive rate of £8.41 per hour, plus overtime at time and a half after your contracted 40 hours.
