HGV Driver / Lorry Loader Operator- Tramping
What’s the role?
Working as a Lorry Loader Operator/HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe loading, transport and delivery of various goods to our customers across the country.
You must be flexible with the hours of work, as your start times may vary. The role will include nights out and you will be expected to work some weekends. The work will include pulling a trailer (waggon + drag).
As we are a FORS Gold operator we are looking for drivers who share our values in terms of safety, professionalism and setting the standards for others to follow.
Duties will include the following:
Loading/unloading your vehicle using the lorry mounted crane;
- Ensuring goods are safely secured;
- Working at height;
Keeping your vehicle in good condition;
Completing delivery paperwork;
- Acting as an ambassador for the company.

What kind of person are we looking for?

This position requires the following criteria:
To hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (Class C licence holders will be considered in some circumstances);
To have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/ Driver CPC;
To own a valid Digital Tachograph Card;
Physically active role;
Good communication skills;
Ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism;
Team player.
What happens next?
If your initial application is successful, you will be invited to attend an interview at the depot. There you will meet the depot manager and a member of the Training Department. Following a formal interview, you will be taken out on a driving assessment.
If you are successful you will be contacted by our HR team to discuss a mutually convenient start date.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £46,000.00-£51,000.00 per year
