An Elev8 MEWP Operators job is never boring, no two days are ever the same. Our MEWP Operators work in interesting locations all over the UK, providing safe work at height solutions for a wide variety of sectors including renewables, telecoms, heavy industry and film production.

Elev8 MEWP Operators have the potential to earn an OTE of £50K and have key worker status, so your job is secure. Our Operators get the opportunity to operate a wide variety of access platforms from world leading MEWP manufacturers such as Palfinger, Ruthmann and Bronto.

Because Elev8 is not just an access company, there is room for career development too. Experienced operators learn new skills for example contract lifting, using MEWPs.

What will I be doing?

If you like variety, this is the job for you! It’s your job to drive and operate our fleet of MEWPs. Safety is of paramount importance to Elev8 and every shift starts with a walk around safety check. Once that is completed you could be:

· Working on a Hollywood blockbuster, providing a lighting rig, or access for aerial filming;

· Helping the UK become greener by providing access to maintain and repair wind turbines;

· Working alongside our contract lifting team on ground-breaking engineering projects;

· Providing safe access for upgrading the country’s telecom and utility networks;

What do I need?

• A driving licence with less than 3 points.
• At least a HGV class 2 licence to be drive our whole fleet of vehicles.
• IPAF (essential)
• IPAF 1b (preferable)
• Experience operating MEWPS is great, but we can train you.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends (essential, as our customers dictate when they want to work).
• You must be willing to travel and have nights away.
• You must be safety conscious.

Experience:

• Driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle: 2 years (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (preferred)
